Objectives of the Committee

Objective

To attend the Students grievances and recommend suitable redressed measures and to ensure overall discipline.

Functions

1. Advise/counsel the students in the college not to involve in ragging.
2. Report/recommend action on the students involved in ragging.
3. Display the important factors of anti-ragging act including the punishments at different important places.
4. Enquire the Complaints received from the female students or staff of the College.
5. Deal with the issues of Gender based violence.
6. Conduct various gender sensitization programmes.
7. Pay Special Attention on ragging/exploitation related issues.
8. Recommend to the Principal of the College the penalty/Punishment to be imposed.
9. Scrutinize, investigate and consider all complaints grievances of the students.
10. Maintain a record of the Grievances redressed/reported/referred.
11. Regulate & enforce discipline among the students of the college.
12. Take appropriate action wherever necessary.
13. Submit report to IQAC.
